The Hunger Games - Tunku Intan .

This book is called the Hunger Games. This is my favourite book because I like this kind of book and the plot to it. This book has been made into a movie, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. The story inside this book is about a girl named Katniss Everdeen who lives in the smallest and poorest area on District 12 in Panem, the Seam. 

Every year, there is a show called the Hunger Games. One boy and girl from each of the 12 Districts must represent their district and compete to stay alive, only one person will live out of the 24. In every games, the arena always changes, it could be blazing hot, or even freezing cold. In the 74th Hunger Games, which Katniss will experience in, the arena is the usually woods that Katniss usually hunts in with her very close friend, Gale Hawthorne. Katniss had heard Primrose (her sister) been called out at the reaping. Katniss volunteers for her sister, meaning she has to stay alive, or die.

During the time she spends in the Capitol, the main part of Panem, Katniss meets her counter partner, Peeta Mellark. Towards the middle of the story, Peeta confesses his love for Katniss. Katniss doesn't know how to react, and now she doesn't know what she plans to do in the arena. Katniss also visits her mentor, Haymitch Abernathy, and other Capitol people like Effie Tricket, and her stylists, Cinna and Portia.

In the arena, Katniss misses her chance to get her strongest weapon, the bow and arrow, blaming it on Peeta. Instead, she grabs a bag of supplies and runs of deep into the woods. I won't ruin the story, I guess you have to read the book!
