Blue and Pink from Hannah Do
Blue is my favorite color. I'm gonna to share with you guys interesting facts about the color blue.
1. In ancient Rome, blue was worn by the public servants, which marked the beginning of the idea for today's police uniforms.
2. A survey has shown blue to be the best-selling color in women's sweaters because women think men like it.
3. In India, blue is thought to bring bad luck and is associated with mourning.
4. Mosquitoes are attracted to the color blue twice as much as to any other color.
5. Owls are the only birds who can see the color blue!
6. Blue is often used to decorate offices because research has shown that people are more productive in blue rooms.
My 2nd favorite color is pink and I'll show you more facts about it.
1. Pink provides feelings of caring, tenderness, self-worth and love, acceptance.
2. Wear pink when you want to present yourself as a peaceful, calm person who is not threatening.
4. Pink is intuitive and insightful, showing tenderness and kindness with its empathy and sensitivity.
5. Pink calms and reassures our emotional energies, alleviating feelings of anger, aggression, resentment, abandonment and neglect.
6. Pink is a sign of hope and Pink can signify good health
7. The color pink represents the sweetness and innocence of the child in all of us.
8. Pink can also remind you of earlier childhood memories, associated with
nurturing and comfort from your mother or a mother figure.
